Dick Silvera, President Broker - Nevada & California


Dick  Silvera started his real estate career in 1977 in Antioch, CA.  The  first two years working in residential real estate for Bud Waldie Real  Estate.  in 1979 he joined East County Brokers, an all broker office and  started in commercial real estate.  In 1981 Dick opened Silvera  Commercial Real Estate and has continued to own the company since that  time.  After retiring in 1994 and moving to Minden, Nevada Dick became  bored with retirement and in 1995, he obtained his Nevada Brokers  license and opened the Nevada office of Silvera Commercial.

Dick  specializes in industrial real estate but is equally proficient in all  the commercial specialties with years of experience in sales. leasing,  land investments.  Wether working with sellers, landlords, buyers or  tenants, Dick strives to always produce the best results for all parties  involved in a transaction.

Dick is a licensed broker in both Nevada and California serving all northern Nevada and northern California areas.

Gary Moreira, CSM Broker - NV


Gary  Moreira is a Director for Silvera Commercial Real Estate, Inc.   Beginning his commercial real estate career in 1980 in the San Francisco  Bay Area, Gary’s experience includes management and leasing of retail,  office, R&D, industrial and mini storage properties. 

Gary  brings more than thirty five years experience to his position with  Silvera. His extensive range of real estate and management experience  has enabled him to bring a keen business mind to every operation. As a  senior commercial broker at Grubb & Ellis|NCG, Gary was a retail  specialist, and later a broker for Grubb & Ellis’ Carson City  Capital Region.  Gary also served as Senior Property Manager in the  Property Management Division, managing approximately 800,000 square feet  of retail and office properties for Grubb & Ellis|NCG.  In Gary’s  leasing and management position at DGD Development, he was responsible  for the leasing and management of a 985,000 square foot commercial  property portfolio including a shopping center, R & D, office  buildings, industrial buildings and self storage facilities. During his  time at PacTrust, he was the on-site manager of a 210,000 square foot,  100-tenant, Specialty Shopping Center in Carmel, CA.  While at the  Sammis Company, he was the on-site manager of a 250,000 square foot  Specialty Shopping Center. His career management responsibilities  included financial and facility management, leasing, marketing, facility  maintenance, and construction management. 

Gary attended Diablo  Valley and Los Medanos Colleges in California, he earned his Certified  Shopping Center Manager (CSM) designation from the International Council  of Shopping Centers (ICSC) in 1987. 

Gary is an active member of  the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).  He has served on  the Board of Directors of the Monterey County Travel and Tourism  Authority, Carmel-by-the-Sea Rotary and the Monterey Peninsula Chamber  of Commerce and Minden Rotary.
